Photojournalism - Fellow Student - Class Project

This photo of a fellow student was taken for my photojournalism class. We had to learn how to take shots of people/models. I took a total of 45 shots of the various models. Below the final photo is one page of the contact sheet showing some of the other angles and models.

Photojournalism - 3 Picture Description - Class Project

For this project, the assignment was to take three photos which depict an organization, company or idea.

The company I chose was In-N-Out Burger. I took multiple pictures of the outside of the building, the food they serve and the "icons" of In-N-Out Burger. Below are the three pictures I chose along with the contact sheet of some of the pictures I had to chose from.

Photojournalism - Current News Story - Class Project

The picture below is from an assignment where we had to go out into the community and photograph a news story. I found two students taking graduation pictures of each other. This was very current and an acceptable story because it was in the middle of the semester, when graduation cards and pictures are sent out.

I have also included the contact sheet for this assignment.

Photojournalism - Europe Travels - Personal Photos

I spent three months traveling throughout Europe during the summer of 2007, and of course I had my camera with me. Below are pictures from my travels where I used the skills I learned in my Photojournalism class at Chico State.
